June is here!

OK, only two months since my last posting...must be getting something right. Well, here's whats new.........................

Emily just could not get the groove of her new job. She gave it her all, and then some.....she almost had a panic attack (or more than one maybe), so she and I decided that being frustrated to death is no way to die, so she gave her notice. It is bitter sweet. She really enjoyed the job and the coworkers, the job duties and the amount of learning required for this job just overwhelmed her. I guess at the same time, life got just a little crazy. June 2nd our youngest son, Jeff, graduated from TUHS - we are so very proud of him. In early May my mom's dad went into the hospital for 'not feeling well'. While in there, his heart stopped, and he was revived. It has been about a month and a half, and he is coming home from the rehab hospital on Monday. It is scary for the whole family, a new ball game we have never played. He is 82 years young, we are so proud to call him grandpa, daddy, husband, etc. He is also on dialysis, so that is another challenge he must face. My other granpa, my dad's dad, also is having health problems, also age related. He is 92 years young. He is home and taking it easy, and doing ok for now. You have heard that when it rains, it pours, and life has definately been raining on our family. My older brother who is serving his 25th year in the Army was able to come out to be with the family during this crisis, and it was so awesome to give him a hug and tell him I love him in person, that has been way too long. He lives in CO, and has a great family there. Unfortunately, miles and money keep us all apart.

Vacation - really - We are headed to Monterey for the weekend. We have never been there, so we are heading there with our best friends for the weekend. It should be a blast, even though our friend Traci's knee is all messed up, she will just have to quit whining, get in that wheel chair and ride along....we might even slow down for her.

The Dog House - yes, it is still being worked on. Haven't spent much time out there with all of life's events begging for our attention. I was able to put in a finished window pane and install the window shade. There will always be something to do out there, I just need to spend some time getting some stuff put away and coming up with my next project.

So, life goes on, busy as always. I guess as I read back through my blogs, I realize how blessed I am, with family, friends, and especially God - who always keeps me smiling, laughing, and meeting all our needs.

Stop by the house sometime, let's visit, or drop a note on here, I would love to see you, or hear from you. Thank you all for your prayers for our family, and your friendship as we travel this bumpy journey we are all on....Hang On, it may not get smoother, but with each other it is guaranteed to be a good time.

Boz
